Bollywood Actress Laila Khan, who had been missing since the last 11 months is now dead. Missing Bollywood actor Laila Khan, who allegedly had terror links, was killed along with her entire family by three men outside Mumbai.
Pervez Ahmed Tak, who was in the custody has spilled the beans, claimed the police. Pakistan-born Bollywood starlet Laila Khan went missing with her family about an year ago, from a shop in Kishtwar town on May 29.
Laila Khan whose real name is Reshma Patel is a Pakistan born actress, popularly known for her role in Bollywood movie Wafaa: A Deadly Love Story opposite bollywood actor Rajesh Khanna in the 2008. Laila is married to Munir Khan, a member of the Bangladeshi terror outfit Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami.
In January 2012, Laila’s father, Nadir Shah Patel, filed a complaint at a Mumbai police station stating that his daughter had gone missing along with her mother Saleena Patel, sister Azmina Patel, her stepfather Asif Sheikh and family friend Parvez Iqbal Tak.
According to reports, Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) suspects Laila Khan of having links with the Pakistani spy agency ISI and the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). It was also suspected that Laila could have been involved with terror outfits. She came under the lens in the Delhi High Court blast in September 2011 probe after it emerged that a Mitsubishi Outlander (MH02-AY-7867), which was registered in her mother`s name Saleena Patel, was used for ferrying explosives by terrorists. She also supplied the LeT with information on the city of Mumbai. The police fear that the actress may have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir.
Laila’s friend Parvez Tak, a suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba member, is suspected of being behind Laila and her family’s disappearance. In connection with Laila’s alleged links to terror groups, the ATS questioned director Rakesh Sawant, who was shooting his second film Jinnat with Laila just before she disappeared from Mumbai. Sawant had visited Laila’s bungalow in connection with the film’s finances and confessed having seen five suspicious Kashmiris who were not allowed to speak to him.
