Ukrainian Coach Denied Charges, Says Ready for Probe

Indian athletics coach Yuri Ogorodnik who hails from Ukraine breaks his silence and interacted with media after the big doping scandal.

He denied all the charges levied against him and said that he ready to face any inquiry. The coach said that ‘contaminated’ food supplement could be the reason for the athletes failing dope tests.

He also pleaded that he be allowed to go back to Ukraine as he feared for his life.

“I do not have food and am not allowed to go outside. I immediately want to go home because I can’t continue to live like this. I will die. The federation and SAI will then have more problems if I die here,” said a visibly disturbed Ogorodnik.
