Two oil-laden ships collided off Arabian Sea near Bombay Port at Colaba in Mumbai

According to the report, huge quantity of oil has been leaking into the sea after the collision between Khalija-3 and Chitra.

Meanwhile, a three rescue boats of Coastgaurds and Indian Navy have been dispatched.

The ship Chitra severely damaged in the collision and it is on the verge of sinking.

According to the sources, the ship Chitra rammed into Khalija from behind. The Khalija has been carrying 900 tonnes crude oil.

The ship has been stranded in the Arabian Sea since last 10 days.
