Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is a drama series that’s currently on-air on Star Plus. The series premiered on January 12, 2009. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai aims to establish the concept of love within the conventional setting of an arranged marriage. Pavitra Rishta – ZEE TV

Pavitra Rishta is a popular Indian daily soap opera that airs on Zee TV. The series premiered on June 1, 2009 and is produced by Indian television’s soap queen Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms. Pavitra Rishta talks about the strong emotional bond that every daughter shares with her mother. Balika Vadhu – COLORS

Balika Vadhu—Kachchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte is a highly popular Indian television series that airs every Monday to Friday at 8pm on Colors TV. The story deals with child marriage, a social custom still prevalent in parts of India. The serial shows the journey of child bride Anandi from the brink of childhood to womanhood. Uttaran – COLORS

Uttaran is a daily soap broadcasting on the Indian Channel Colors. Uttaran is a story of two friends Ichcha and Tapasya with diametrically opposite backgrounds. Ichcha is the daughter of the maid servant, Damini, while Tapasya is the daughter of the landlord (Thakur) of the same house. In spite of their economic differences they become the best of friends. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain - SONY ENTERTAINMENT TV

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is a popular and awarded Indian Television drama series that premiered on May 30, 2011 on Sony TV. It is based on the story of two unmarried strangers. The show explores the worlds of two different personalities — Priya Sharma (30) & Ram Kapoor (40) — who accidentally discover love after they marry. The series is produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms and stars known television actors Saakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor in the leads.

Sasural Genda Phool – STAR PLUS

Sasural Genda Phool is a TV show that premiered on March 1, 2010 and is currently on STAR PLUS. It falls into the category of a soap opera, romantic comedy and a drama. Sasural Genda Phool is set in the colourful alleys of Purani Dilli.  Sasural Genda Phool is a heart-rending story of two unlikely characters – Suhana and Ishaan. Kaun Banega Crorepati- SONY ENTERTAINMENT TV

Kaun Banega Crorepati popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? The show offers a maximum cash prize of Rs. 5 crore. The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. KBC entered into into its fifth season this year, again hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. The game show proved to be a huge hit & one of the top entertainers of the small screen for the year 2011.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – STAR PLUS

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon ? is an Indian television drama series on Star Plus. The series premiered in India on June 6, 2011, and currently airs on weekdays at 8:00 pm IST. IPKKND is a star-crossed love story presenting an interesting contrast of personalities entwined in a relationship swinging between love & hate. Khushi & Arnav have diametrically opposite ideologies. If Khushi believes in means, Arnav believes only in ends.
