After the 5-week battle between the DID L’il Masters Season 1 and DID L’il Masters Season 2 contestants, finally the contestants of Season 2 (Yahoo) walked away with the winner’s trophy in the grand finale of ‘DID Dance Ke Superkids’ Sunday night. The team Yahoo was headed by Slow Motion King King Raghav aka Crockroach. The trophy was given by Mithun Da to the Yahoo team – the winner of Dance Ke Superkids.
Dance ke Superkids brings together seven contestants from DID Li’l Masters (season 1) and seven contestants from DID Li’l Masters (season 2) to compete against each other for the coveted title of “Dance Ke Superkids”.
Team Wakao had choreographers & contestants from ‘DID L`il Masters Season 1’ & was captained by Dharmesh Yelande, Mayuresh Vadkar & Vrushali Chavan. The contestants of Team Wakao were Jeetumoni Kalita, Vatsal Vithlani, Ruturaj Mahalim, Vaishnavi Patil, Atul Banmoria, Anurag Sarmah, and Khyati Patel.
Team Yahoo had choreographers & contestants from ‘DID L’il Masters Season 2’ & was captained by Raghav Juyal, Kruti Mahesh and Prince Gupta. The contestants of Team Wakao were Faisal Khan, Shalini Moitra, Saumya Rai, Om Chetri, Jeet Das, Rohan Parkale, and Tanay Malhara. Tanay of Team Yahoo walked away with the award for best solo performance of the series. He was presented an HP Ink Advantage printer.
The grand finale of Dance ke Superkids saw a melange of performances. Choreographer Terence Lewis opened the show by shaking a leg with all the 14 children on the new version of the song “Disco Deewane” from the film “Student Of The Year”. Om and Tanay also peformed with “Dance India Dance Season 3″ winner Rajasmitha on “O re piya”.
To add to the grandeur, Geeta Kapoor and Farah Khan danced together for the first time in the history of their career on “Munni badnam”, “Sheila ki jawaani” and I want just you”.
Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee also graced the event on Saturday night to promote her upcoming movie Aiyyaa.
