Sania wins Indonesian open title, third super series title for her by defeating Japanese Sakaya Sato in the finals by 21-19, 13-21 and 21-11.
With her newly-added victory, Saina has collected a hat-trick victories at the international badminton tournaments three weeks in a row. Prior to Indonesia Open she had claimed India Open and Singapore Open.
Saina said:"Sato was good and moving fast the second game that made me hardly able to return her shots. Her drop shots were excellent. I tried to correct my techniques with cross shots and net playing. It worked out, I managed to control the game at last."
Her world ranking has already soared to a career-high third after last week’s triumph in Singapore which will now become two.
Her parents feel proud of her daughters performance, Indian Badminton federation presidents also greets Saina for her performance.
