Kolkata, June 2 (ANI): The Trinamool Congress had won 98 out of 141 seats in Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
The Left Front managed to win 31 wards, while the Congress won six wards.
In Bidhannagar municipality, the Trinamool Congress was well ahead of the Left Front leading in 18 out of a total 25 wards.
A total of 81 civic bodies have gone to elections across West Bengal with the Left Front controlling 54 civic bodies.
On Wednesday, Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee said that she is ”confident” of her party’’s victory in the civic polls.
