image The 2010 FIFA World Cup is the 19th FIFA World Cup, the premier international association football tournament, which is being held in South Africa. The tournament is being hosted first time by any of the African nation. South Africa became the first African country to host the football world cup. The two competing teams will be Netherlands and Spain.



We knew the Germany vs Spain match would be a difficult one. Both teams are well in all aspects of the game, so it was hard to actually determine who had the favor to win. However, it was Spain that came out on top with only scoring a single goal on Germany. Spain enter into final by defeating Germany. Netherlands and Spain won the semi finals and now the teams will contest for the FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 title.


The two nations left fighting for the prestigious 2010 FIFA World Cup title are “Spain and Netherlands”. Neither Spain nor the Netherlands have ever won a World Cup, which means they’ll be setting history for their home country if the trophy goes into their favor. FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 has two more matches to be played. For the Netherlands, they made the final with a win over Brazil in the quarterfinals and Uruguay in the semi finals. Spain advanced with a win over Germany in the semi finals and over Paraguay in the quarterfinals.image

One match is scheduled on Saturday 10th of July for the third place, match of Germany vs Uruguay. While the final match is scheduled on Sunday 11th of July, fight for the championship. Final match to be played by Spain vs Netherlands.
