Shah Rukh Khan To Perform on CWG 2010 Opening Ceremony. Commonwealth Games starting from 3rd October is going through lot of controversies. To add more glamour Bollywood King Khan Shah Rukh Khan is expected to attend the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games 2010 starting on October, 3rd. Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been approached to perform at the opening ceremony of CWG on October 3rd, 2010.

Shah Rukh Khan is known to be a sports lover, & thus Commonwealth Organization is hoping to add some positive energy to the event after much bad controversies. King Khan has been approached to perform at the opening ceremony of CWG on October 3rd, 2010. According to some sources of the Commonwealth Games, Shah Rukh Khan will be present on the starting day of the show to encourage participants and audiences.

When asked about Shah Rukh Khan attending the opening ceremony of CWG, Viraf Sarkari, the director who is responsible for the opening and closing ceremony of Commonwealth Games said, “I am sure Shah Rukh Khan will be invited by the organizing committee and he will let us know whether he will be able to attend the ceremony in accordance to his schedule. It will be great to have him at the event.”

When enquired about the other Bollywood stars participating in the event, Sarkari says, “Presently the opening ceremony is totally cultural in setting and is not focused on Bollywood. The event will showcase programs that are at per with Indian cultural heritage and we are trying hard to make the event grand and enjoyable.”

Shah Rukh Khan To Perform on CWG 2010 Opening Ceremony. Oscar-winning musician A R Rahman had launched the CWG theme song India bula liya’ at Sarkari’s entertainment hub, ‘Kingdom of Dreams’.
Surprisingly the song which is not appreciated much costs around Rs5.55 crore.
