Salman khan has become a shareholder and brand ambassador of popular travel portal Yatra.com. Salman Khan’s NGO human being, also benefit from this partnership. The choice of Salman as a brand ambassador was taken by senior management. Salman also has been given a 5% stake in the company.
Salman Khan has been appointed as a brand ambassador of Yatra.com. Besides being the face of the campaign of Yatra.com ‘s new marketing in India and the U.S., Khan is also a shareholder in the online travel portal.
This travel portal was launched in 2006 and its investors include Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group Reliance Capital, Silicon Valley-based Promod Haque of Norwest Venture Partners, Raghav Bahl promoted by Network 18 and Intel Capital, the strategic investment arm of Intel.
“A new promotional campaign with Salman is likely to be extended shortly. Yatra.com will launch a multimedia campaign with Salman Khan, with a marketing budget of over 30 crore rupees in a few days, along with new product offerings, such as installment payments for air tickets “ Yatra.com President Sharat Dhall said.
“I am excited about my association with Yatra.com. Yatra.com is not a normal brand association , where I am, just at face value. I am also now a shareholder of Yatra. I have immense confidence in the brand and the hope that the partnership will be beneficial for both of us”. Salman Khan said.
