Saina Nehwal withdrawn from the Chinese Taipei series

The Indian Badminton star Saina Nehwal , withdrawn from the season ending super series finals in Chinese Taipei beginning on Jan 5, because of her ankle injury . The series will have the participation from the season’s top eight players.

The final qualifying list  of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) confirmed that Sania is not participating in the series.

After Saina’s success in many Super series of this month she had denied to play for the Chinese Taipei matches at the last minute due to her severe Injury.

She got injured during her final against Shixian Wang in Hong Kong Super Series.

She is currently in  world No.4 .

Saina played very well this year and won many tournaments , she won the three super series and gold in the Commonwealth Games.
