Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh has grossed 45 cr in 5 days. The film has created a new opening day box office record in the Telugu film industry. Gabbar Singh has beaten the first weekend Box Office record of Blockbuster films like Magadheera and Dookudu it collected a net share of INR 45.65 crores or 289.5 million (USD 5.13 million). The film was released worldwide in over 2500 locations on 11 May, 2012 and garnered unanimously positive reviews from various critics.
Gabbar Singh has set a new record at the Telugu cinema Box Office, it grossing Rs. 25 crores in opening day. Ram Charan Teja’s Magadheera had collected Rs 19.98 crores, while Dookudu garnered Rs 23.35 crores in first three days.

Gabbar Singh ( 2012) is a Telugu action entertainer featuring Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. The fim is directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Bandla Ganesh under Parameshwara Art productions banner. Gabbar Singh is an adaptation of 2010′s successful Hindi film Dabangg directed by Abhinav Kashyap and stars Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.
