Netherlands through to the finals after beating Uruguay by 3-2 in first semifinals of World Cup-2010-Netherlands versus Uruguay-FIFA News-FIFA World Cup 2010

Netherlands got the price of the hard work they are doing and showing from the first match of FIFA World Cup 2010, as they entered to the finals after winning against Uruguay by 3-2 in the first semifinal of this World Cup 2010.

Uruguay vs. Netherlands match started this evening here in Cape Town. The much awaited first semi final match between Uruguay and Netherlands match has just ended, and the Netherlands team has qualified for the final.

Netherlands team is considered favorite for this match by majority soccer fans. They are playing this tournament as real champs. Uruguay too played extremely well in World cup 2010. But they didn’t manage to shock the Netherlands team this time.

Wesley SNEIJDR and Arjen ROBBEN scored two quick goals in the 70th and 73rd minute of the game, which helped Netherlands to put huge pressure on Uruguay.

Netherlands has dominated the entire match. Giovanni VAN BRONCKHORST scored first goal for Netherlands in the 18th minute.

Uruguay scored in 41st minute thus leveling the score in the first half of the game. They couldn’t step up the tempo in second half and they suffered the defeat in the hands of Netherlands.

Maximiiliano Pereira scored a goal in the additional time, but it’s all too late for Uruguay by that time.

Spain will take on Germany today, and the winner will play Netherlands in the finals.
