The Money in the Bank ladder match is a professional wrestling ladder match held by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Miz won the title yesterday evening.

The match can feature anywhere from six to ten participants from any WWE brand, with the objective being to retrieve a briefcase that is suspended 20 feet above the ring. The briefcase contains a contract that guarantees a match for one of WWE`s world titles, which include the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship.

In year 2010, WWE wrestler The Miz captured the Raw brand’s Money in the Bank briefcase during tonight’s MITB PPV.

Miz won the match after a false finish where it appeared Randy Orton would win the MITB briefcase. The finish was Miz knocking Orton off a ladder, then retrieving the briefcase.
Evan Bourne also teased victory before Miz and Orton’s finishing sequence. Chris Jericho interrupted Bourne’s attempt to retrieve the case.
Mid-way through the match, WWE had Maryse become involved. Maryse was ringside after accompanying Ted DiBiase to the ring. With everyone on the floor, Maryse slowly entered the ring and tried to scale a ladder to retrieve the briefcase, but John Morrison pulled her down.
