The 4th One Day International match between India vs Sri Lanka will be played at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on July 30, 2012. India gave a decent account of their character in the third match of the series with Suresh Raina and Irfan Pathan stitching a record 92-run sixth-wicket partnership to take the visitors home to a 2-1 lead in the series. Kumar Sangakkara and frontline pacer Nuwan Kulasekara are out with injuries, giving the team a major worry.

Squads (from):

Sri Lanka:

Mahela Jayawardene (capt), Angelo Mathews (vice-capt), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Dinesh Chandimal (wk), Thisara Perera, Lahiru Thirimanne, Lasith Malinga, Chamara Kapugedera, Rangana Herath, Sachithra Senanayake, Jeevan Mendis, Isuru Udana.

Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara (206 runs in three matches) has ruled him out of the series following a fracture in his little finger. He was hit by an Ashok Dinda bouncer on his knuckles and fractured his little figure.

India:

Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli (vice-captain), Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Zaheer Khan, Umesh Yadav, Pragyan Ojha, Ajinkya Rahane, Manoj Tiwary, Rahul Sharma, Ashok Dinda.

Bowling has been an area for India where they haven’t came up well from long time and the same happened in the last ODI. India leaked away 97 runs in the last 10 overs.

India is probable to make two changes to the team which beaten Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI. Manoj Tiwary is likely to replace Rohit Sharma and pace man Umesh Yadav will replace Dinda. Sharma has not been able to justify his selection in the playing eleven and has flopped in all three ODIs so far and the time seems to be appropriate for making the necessary change.

Rohit Sharma scored just five in the first game, followed by two ducks. Ashok Dinda leaked away too many runs for his skipper`s liking and he will require to be more disciplined in his approach.
