KKR VS RCB : Kolkata Knight Riders won by 9 wickets

Kolkata  Knight Riders  win by 9 wickets with 2.3 overs to spare, Gambhir and Kallis took KKR to a well-earned victory. Jacques Kallis is the Man of the Match for his batting and bowling performance in this match.  KKR started their innings on a strong note with Haddin tearing into the Kallis doing what he does best – anchor the innings. Haddin scored a quickfire 42 and then holed out to covers but Gambhir replaced him at the crease and looked in supreme touch as he unleashed some monstrous hits all round the park. But Royal Challengers Bangalore struggled with their batting but Vettori, Bhatkal and Mohammad boosted them to 169 which was in itself a tough score to chase down.

RCB struggled to get going. At 102/6 at the end of the 15th over, RCB looked done and dusted. That’s when skipper Daniel Vettori (44; 23b, 5×4, 2×6) took it upon himself to bat his side out of trouble. His explosive 61-run, seventh-wicket stand with debutant Rajoo Bhatkal (25; 18b, 2×4, 1×6) seemed to have turned it around for the home side.
