Karnataka Election Online Result 2010 : Karnataka Taluk & Zila Panchayat Election Result 2010 – 2011

Karnataka State Election Commission declared Karnataka Panchayat Election Result 2010. Karnataka Panchayat Election Result declared today on January 4th, 2011 & available online.Counting of votes for the zilla panchayat and taluk panchayat elections will begin across the State on Tuesday at 8 a.m. and the results are expected to be announced by noon. The counting will take place at the respective taluk centres.

The State Election Commission has deployed 15,000 personnel for counting of votes polled for 1,012 zilla panchayat seats and 3,650 taluk panchayat seats at 171 taluk centres. Only in Chitradurga district, counting will take place at the district headquarters.

Karnataka Zilla Panchayat (ZP) and Taluk Panchayat (TP) Election was held in 2 Phases – 26 December 2010 and 31 December 2010 & 01 January 2011. Fifty per cent of the seats, both in ZP and TP, are reserved for women.

For the First Time Karnataka Election Commission is using Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) for TP and ZP elections.
