Indian cricket team get a new blue jersey,which was unveiled in a launching ceremony in Chandigarh.Basically the new jersey is for the ICC world cup to be held in 2011,next year.

For the first time Indian team will be wearing the the new jersey for tomorrow’s one day international match against Australia in Kochi.

Nike is the creator behind Indian cricket team new jersey.The company also states that the jersey is totally eco friendly as it is formed from 8 spare plastic bottles.

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar seems to be very happy with the new jersey as it has the same old blue color and a little bit of orange.Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was not present in this occasion as he reached the city today itself after being in South Africa for champion’s league T-20.
