India Vs West Indies : India ODI Squad for West Indies Series Nov-Dec 2011

The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked the Indian team for the 1st three ODIs against the West Indies. India VS West  Indies 1st ODI will be played at Cuttack on Nov 29, 2011. Virender Sehwag will lead India in the first three one-day internationals against West Indies. Indian Captain MS Dhoni and SachinTendulkar has been rested for the first three matches while Yuvraj Singh has himself called off the squad due to his fitness. Rohit Sharma, who was the top run-getter in the ODIs in West Indies, came back into the side after injuring himself in England.

Harbhajan Singh, who was dropped for the home ODI series against England and the ongoing Tests against West Indies, remains out of contention too.

Leg-spinner Rahul Sharma was included in the team with R Ashwin and Jadeja. Praveen Kumar and Vinay Kumar returning to complete the four-man seam attack that also included Varun Aaron and Umesh Yadav. S Aravind and Abhimanyu Mithun, who were picked for the England ODIs, were dropped despite not getting a game in that series.
