India got eight-wicket victory in the 2nd ODI Match over New Zealand at Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur. Gautam Gambhir made unbeaten 138 along with Kohli’s 64. Gautam Gambhir smashed 8th Hundred in Airtel Cup 2010. India  got a great start with the opening pair (Gautam Gambhir and Murali Vijay), Both opener putting up 80 runs partnership on the board. Gambhir played a superb innings of 138 to keep up the winning momentum. Gautam  was also named the man of the match.India got the target of 259 with seven over’s to spare.

Gautam Gambhir was born  on 14 October 1981 in Delhi. Now Gautam Gambhir is an Indian opening batsman. He has been a member of the Indian national cricket team since 2003 (ODIs) and 2004 (Tests) and T-20. Gambhir made two successive double-hundreds in 2002 against the visiting Zimbabweans. These double-hundreds made him a strong contender for India’s opening slot.After Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar and Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam was the fourth Indian batsman to score a double century in a tour game at home. He is the only Indian batsman to score more than 300 runs in four consecutive Test series. He is also the only Indian, and one of only four international cricketers, to have scored five hundreds in five consecutive test matches. On July 2009,He was the number one ranked batsman in ICC Test rankings.
