India to take on Sri Lanka at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium on 21 July 2012

India Vs Sri Lanka 1st ODI of  five-match ODI series to be played at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, Hambantota on Sat, 21 Jul 2012 02:30 PM IST. A relaxed India will look for a charming start to the new time but the job would be calmer said than complete against a robust Sri Lanka as the two sides clash in a five-match ODI series beginning on Saturday.

Both sides that took on each other in the 2011 World Cup championships will once again look off in a One-day series with India looking to place behind them a forgetful last Visit  and Sri Lanka out to continue their fresh decent run. The Sri Lankan have been hungry Tigers on prey. They beat Pakistan at home in both ODIs and Tests, outplaying the high-riding opponents with a clinical show.

India have not been in action since their last international outing in South Africa in March.

India had a poor time previous summer when they were beaten by England 0-4 in Tests and 0-3 in the One-dayers and a couple of months later they met a like fate in Australia. India and Sri Lanka have seen five times this year  and India have won three and lost one with one match ending in a tie.
