The two archrivals play a practice game today in Colombo to get ready for the tournament that starts September 18.
Batting will be India’s main strength as Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj and Dhoni are all capable of dominating any attack with their exciting strokeplay.
Indian opener Gautam Gambhir is doubtful starter after being injured of Laisth Malinga in the warm-up match but Virender Sehwag along with other top-order batsmen need to redeem themselves against Pakistan following their dismal show with the bat in the first match.
Virat Kohli has been a consistent performer, but the young Delhi lad would look to settle down and get battle ready with a solid knock against Pakistan. All-rounder Irfan Pathan seems to be re-discovering his mojo. He picked up five wickets in the first warm-up match against Sri Lanka on Saturday.
Dhoni & Co. are one of the favourites to win the coveted trophy this year. India defeated hosts Sri Lanka in their first warm up while it will be first practice match for Green Brigade.
