Harbhajan Singh dream comes true as he always wish to score a test hundred, he unlikely played superb innings of 115 runs on Monday, which helped India to make First Test against New Zealand.
It was his maiden century for the flamboyant number eight batsman who has played role of Virender Sehwag and came up when India were struggling at 65-6, staring at the ignominy of going down to the Kiwis, ranked a lowly eighth in the world.
With the Most dependable Venkat Sai Laxman (91) for company, Harbhajan built a 163-run partnership for the seventh wicket to spare top-ranked India’s blushes. Harbhajan, playing his 88th Test, also chipped in an impressive 69 in the first innings to swell India’s total to 487.
