Google Brings Voice Navigation for Indian Users



Google has launched its Voice navigation service in India (Speak your destination instead of typing). This features allow Users to use Google Search by speaking on a mobile phone or computer.


There is also Voice Action which allows one to give speech commands to an Android phone.

The Google voice Navigation will available on Android phones and tablets for free. The update would be available via Google Maps app for Android.

Voice Navigation feature would enable users, whether they are driving or walking, to get directions to a place through turn-by-turn voice instructions (This feature only works if you have an active Internet connection).

i.e. have the device search for data upon entering information on what to search into the device by speaking.

Google has enabled Voice Navigation feature only for few selected countries in their official Maps/Navigation apps on Android.

Navigation is one of the most popular features among smartphone and tablet users across the world. In India only Nokia offered this service on its high-end phones for free. Both Google and Nokia have spent years perfecting their map service in India.
