Google New 34 Buttons Scientific Calculator to Search Engine

Google just added an interactive calculator to its search results that works on desktop and mobile browsers. The company’s new 34-button calculator appears the moment you type in the word “calculator” or a mathematical expression like “8 x 5 , 4+5, 89 – 9, 55 /11″ into the search box.

It’s got everything you really need in a calculator, numbers aside : trigonometric functions, logs, powers, even factorials. The calculator has functions for calculating sines, cosines, square roots and tangents as well as also dedicated buttons for Pi and Euler’s number.

Users can also use Google’s voice search feature found in mobile version and in Chrome browser – to do calculations without actually touching keyboard. The calculator is also available on your mobile device. If you type the word “calculator” or enter an equation into the Google search bar, a basic calculator will show up if you hold your smartphone in the upright “portrait” position. You’ll have to turn the phone on it’s side (“landscape position”) if you want to see the fancy scientific version.

You can even talk to this calculator: It is compatible with Desktop Search. You can command all these maths just by talking. Google voice-enabled the calculator for the first time, according to TechCrunch.

The search giant has also announced its Panda algorithm update (version 3.9) via its official Twitter account.
