Paul,  the octopus of the Sea Life Aquarium in Germany has correctly predicted the German’s loss to Spain in the 2010 World Cup Semifinals.

An agency is taking bets on whether Paul the Octopus will correctly pick the winner of of the FIFA World Cup final - if, in fact, he does make a pick.
European based Williamhill is offering odds of even money that Paul will tip the winner.
But so far, the "oracle octopus" has only picked winners for games that Germany is playing in and it is unknown if he will pick a winner for Monday morning’s Spain v Netherlands final.

Most recently, it correctly predicted the Germans would be downed by the Spaniards in this morning’s semifinal, with Germany going down 1-0. Now bookmakers in New Zealand are offering punters the opportunity to pick whether or not Paul will predict the winner of Monday morning’s final between the Netherlands and Spain.
