EPL: Indian Firm Venky’s Will Buy Blackburn Rovers Football Club

Indian Poultry Firm Venky’s will be soon enter into the English Premier League by buying the EPL football Club Blackburn Rovers expected to be completed next month.

The Venkateshwara Hatcheries group has an annual turnover of Rs 7,100 crore.

Venky’s non-executive chairperson Anuradha Desai said: “We expect to be the first Indian company to acquire a Premier League team and we are particularly delighted that the team is Blackburn Rovers, with whom we believe we have many shared values and ambitions.”

Almost the deal is in  final stages, the deal will be finalized  in few more days. The chief Executive Officer Anuradha J Desai is personally taking active part in the whole deal.

If Venky’s will buy the Blackburn Rovers, it will also help them to enter into a international market. well this is a very sound technique by Venkateshwara Hatcheries group  to enter into international market without any marketing.
