Ek Tha Tiger Box Office Collection – 33 Crore on First day

Ek Tha Tiger (2012) is a Bollywood romantic action thriller directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra. Ek Tha Tiger opened to an earth-shattering response at the Box Office. Selected multiplexes increased the ticket prices of the film above the normal rate. As per the early trends, the romantic action thriller has raked in approximately Rs 33 crores nett at the collections centres across the country.

Wednesday (First Day): 33 cr (early estimates)

Trade analyst Komal Nahata said, “It is estimated to have made a record for a historic opening. It could also become the fastest movie to earn Rs 100 crore at the box office in the next 4-5 days.”

It was screened in 3300 screens over the country, marking the largest domestic release for a Bollywood film. Around 60 percent of the first weekend sales received an advanced booking prior to the release.

Ek Tha Tiger marks the third collaboration of Kabir Khan with Yash Raj Films after Kabul Express (2006) and New York (2009). It is also Salman’s first film with Yash Raj Films.
