December 25th rolls around every year and the celebration kicks into high gear – presents are torn open, a massive feast is prepared, and families gather to enjoy each other’s company. So in the occasion of Christmas here we are going to give you easy and best Christmas cake delicious recipe.
Christmas Cake recipe:-
Ingredients:- 3 cups Butter, 5 eggs, beaten well, 1 tbsp baking powder, 2 cups Raisins, 1 cup Glace cherries, 1/3 cup Almonds, finely chopped, 1 tbsp Cardamom powder, 2 cup Brown sugar, 2 cups Maida, 3 cups Currants, 1 cup Mixed chopped candied peel, 1/3 cup Almond powder, 1 tbsp Nutmeg powder, Grated skin and juice of one lemon.
Method:- Cream sugar and butter together till soft and light then add beaten eggs gradually. Afetr that sift maida, nutmeg, cardamom, almon and baking powders together and add gently to butter mixture now add cleaned dry fruit slowly. Add almonds, lemon peel and juice. Line a cake tin 16 cms to 20 cms in diameter. Bake for 1 hour on high and then for 2 hours in a medium oven then serves it.
Eggless Christmas Cake recipe:-
Ingredients:- 2 cups maida, 1/2 cup curd, 1/2 cup cooking oil, 3/4 cup milk, 3/4 cup powder sugar, 1tbsp baking powder, 1/2 tbsp soda bi-carb, 1 tbsp vanilla essence.
Method:- Sieve flour, baking powder and soda bi-carb. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Butter the baking dish then put the mixture in baking dish. Bake it for 40 minutes at 160 degree in oven. Cake is ready.
Rich Christmas Cake recipe:-
