How to celebrate Kite festivel
Kite flyers will fly kites at night as well, which is the first time such a thing is happening and will be the star attraction of the festival.
Kite enthusiasts are keeping in mind the interests of the birds, which are often injured by the twines.
They are using a different variety of manja (glass-dust coated twine) this year for safety of birds. It is not the usual one that is made up of plastic or synthetic material responsible for killing birds.
