Osthi will also features Githan Ramesh, Richa Gangopadhyay, Sonu Sood, reprising his role from the original, Nizhalgal Ravi and Revathi in supporting roles. Tamil Actor Silambarasan, was roped to play lead male role of Salman Khan whereas bengali actress Richa Gangopadhyay was roped in to portray the lead female character of Sonakshi Sinha. Githan Ramesh was chosen to play the lead character’s brother of Arbaaz Khan whereas Saranya Mohan play the role of Mahi Gill. Sonu Sood would reprise his role from the original. Like Dabangg, Osthi also has an item number done by Mallika Sherawat.

Osthi is all set to be released on 11.11.11, i.e 11th November 2011 with Richa’s another movie Mayakkam Enna……
