Dhanush – Sonam to romance in Raj Kapoor – Nargis style

South Indian star Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor will be seen in Aanand L Rai’s next, Raanjhnaa. The movie is inspired from the grand love story of the Bollywood famous actors Nargis and Raj Kapoor . According to Bollywood sources, “The film is not a biopic on the love story of Raj Kapoor and Nargis. It is trying to re-capture the romance of one of the most romantic onscreen couples of Bollywood.”

The source adds, “Aanand is a Big fan of Raj Kapoor. He has seen each and every one his films countless times. Separately from all else, the director is enormously enthused from Raj Kapoor’s loving side. He feels Raj Kapoor was one of the most romantic men, onscreen and off-screen.

Reportedly, Aanand as well gifted the DVDs of Shree 420, Awaara and Mera Naam Joker Dhanush to shine his Hindi language skills. But the source says, “He also required the Dhanush to learn the actor as a romantic hero, the way he used his eyes and smiled. He needs his lead pair to contain the similar screen innocence and chemistry as Raj Kapoor and Nargis.
