The CBSE question papers of Class X and Class XII were leaked in the Education Department of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Three persons, including a school principal, were arrested on the charge of leaking question papers of the ongoing CBSE examinations.
The CBSE question papers of Class X and Class XII were leaked on February 17 in Andaman & Nicobar. But instead of canceling the examination, authorities conducted the examination in March 1.
Principal of Government Senior Secondary School, Krishnan Raju at Lapati; an Executive Engineer, Rashid of the Andamans PWD; and a Forest Ranger, Vijayan were arrested for leaking the question papers of the ongoing CBSE examinations.
The papers reportedly leaked were that of English and Mathematics of Class XII and the entire Science group including Physics, Chemistry and Biology of Class X.
Bishnupada Roy, BJP MP from the region demanded in New Delhi that the examinations be canceled and fresh ones held. A second set of question papers on the subjects have been kept ready. The examination will continue. Examination for the leaked papers will be held again.

CBSE question papers of all the subjects in class XII (Science Stream) have leaked long before the exams (on 17th February 2011).
Exams have been resheduled only in Andaman & Nicobar Islands but there is a chance that the leaked paper would have spread all over the country and the students all over the country are about to take up the exams with tha same leaked set of question papers.
This issue requires a high level investigation in order to trace out the roots of this issue. political backgroung is suspected in this.
