Bharti Airtel on Monday, launched an online self care service to facilitate its pre paid customers, to provide them with the detailed account of their mobile bill.
“Prepaid my Account”, is the new service introduced to assist in a wide range of functionalities like checking balance, recharging, starting and terminating Value added services etc. Airtel prepaid mobile clients can visit the new self care website to get and activate customized offers on ‘My Airtel, My Offer’ (MAMO)’, view tariff and top up options, request for the itemized bill and more”.
Customers can also view previous 5 recharge details. This type of service was earlier could be availed by only post paid customers, but now pre-paid customers can also take the benefit out of it. For getting itemized pre-paid bill, Airtel customer will have to pay Rs 50 to the company and can demand for the same bill again without paying further money. Bharti Airtel is the first company to introduce this service after the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, who on 6th January issued, “’Telecom Consumers Protection Regulations, 2012′, where one can ask operators to provide them itemized bills ,with a price paid exceeding not more than Rs. 50.
