Mumbai: Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and former all rounder Salim durani were awarded with the top honour, while the 2011 world cup winning team was felicitated by the board at its annual awards function in Mumbai.

Sachin was presented with the Polly Umrigar Award for best cricketer of 2009-10 and received a trophy and cheque for Rs. Five lakh, while Durani was presented with CK Nayudu lifetime achievement trophy for which he received a trophy, a cheque for Rs. 15 lakh and a citation.
Tendulkar also thanked his teammates; he also praised Dhoni’s leadership.
Other top performer in International, domestic and age group cricket tournament, in the 2009-10 season were also awarded at the function.
