Colombia striker Radamel Falcao was bought by Atletico Madrid on Friday. Colombia striker Radamel Falcao is now a most valued player of the Atletico Madrid with a price sum of €40 Million.
According to the statement of a Portuguese club the price can go high to €47 million that is to $67 million.
On a website Atlrtico said that Colombia striker Radamel Falcao has agreed with the club for a five year contract and will soon reach Spanish capital for a standard medical test.
Falcao is commonly known as “El Tigre” which means The Tiger. He played for Porto last season and scored 34 goals.
Falcao’s signing amount was double the price of Atletico’s last transfer. Earlier it paid Benfica €20 million ($29 million) for Portugal forward Simao Sabrosa.
“(Porto) was my first step into Europe and it was impossible to have gone better,”
Falcao wrote on his official website.
