Bollywood Star Aishwarya Rai will be walking the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra at the upcoming third edition of the HDIL India Couture Week. Aishwarya Graces Ramp after 15 Year Gap, Ash has not strode the ramp for any designer in the past 15 years.
‘Beautiful Aishwarya is going to be the showstopper at my couture week show,’ Malhotra posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Manish will be opening the couture week, starting Oct 6-10. The Malhotra magic will unveil on the ramp within the confines of a Five Star Hotel in Suburban Mumbai. And the finale is guaranteed to ring in a high crest of excitement as Ash shows up in her resplendent avatar.
The designer, who has worked on Aishwarya’s looks for the mega-budget ‘Endhiran‘ and ‘Action Replayy‘, is known to have given makeovers to many actresses, including Karisma Kapoor and Rani Mukerji.
States Malhotra in a media quote, “Aishwarya has that timeless beauty about her and yet, she’s also contemporary and pretty. This time my collection will have a lot of emeralds and greens. Emerald is the new bridal color.”
The designer says he will be showcasing 55 different outfits and emerald will be the dominant color in his collection…….
