M&M would ramp up production of Maxximo to 3000 a month very soon. Currently the Chakkan plant of company was churning out 2000 numbers of Maxximo a month ,he said.He estimated the size of the mini truck market to be in the vicinity of 11000 numbers a month.
“M&M had invested close to around Rs300 crore in the product development .With higher payload capacity ,improved fuel efficiency ,comfortable interior and competitive price, he felt Maxximo was advantageously positioned in the market place .These are all differentiating factors for our product,” he pointed out.
According to Mr. Malhotra, South India accounted for 48 percent of all –India mini-truck market.Tamil Nadu is the largest market and, hence,it is very strategic for us,”he added ,the Maxximo would be available at Rs3.03 lakh.
Not that looks matter in the mini truck segment. what is important here is the price, low maintence issues, finance schemes and fuel efficiency ,and we can be sure Mahindra will ensure the Maxximo does not disappoint on those factors.
