The 65th annual Cannes Film Festival has officially kicked off with a glamorous red carpet ceremony on Wednesday. Tilda Swinton, Bruce Willis and Lana Del Rey are among those to grace the red carpet. Sacha Baron Cohen dressed as The Dictator is seen during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival. Baron Cohen is in Cannes ahead of another premiere of The Dictator, with the actor thought to have another prank up his sleeve.

The 65th annual Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to be held from May 16 to May 27, 2012. Italian film director Nanni Moretti has been announced as the President of the Jury for the main competition and British actor Tim Roth has been announced as the President of the Jury for the Un Certain Regard section. French actress Bérénice Bejo has been announced to host the opening and closing ceremonies.
